Help make the 2023 4th of July festivities the most successful ever!
This event brings friends, family and the community together to celebrate the birth of our nation.
Our theme this year is "Independence Day the Rutland Way” and the Grand Marshal is Barbara Campbell.
As in the past, we depend on the generosity of the public and local businesses to keep all the events we have planned free. Any donation you can offer will be greatly appreciated and will help offset the expenses to put on all the events. The average cost to put on all the activities is approximately $24,000.00. We are all volunteers who have a great time planning all the events and there are 100’s who get involved year after year. Please help to keep this tradition alive for our children, grandchildren, neighbors, families, and those who have moved away and love coming back for a visit.
There are several Rutland non-profits who will be selling delicious food, snacks and drinks. Activities will take place on June 30th and July 1st -4th. If you’re new to town or have never attended, we have Junior Olympics, a Volleyball Tournament, a Bike and Doll Carriage parade, Road Race, Lip Sync, Strawberry Festival, Chicken BBQ, a Bon Fire, Concert, fantastic Fireworks on the 3rd and the parade on the 4th.
